Hello, 27

Birthday Shenanigans and a Life Update

Today is my 27th birthday and I am officially unemployed!

Yup. I quit my job!

The new year has brought so many changes I almost can’t keep up with all of them. Changing jobs, getting married, planning a wedding (yes in that order), and moving have all come around the same time and to say it’s been stress inducing would be an understatement. 2022 was one of the busiest years yet and filled with so much happiness and positive change.

This Sunday also marks the first full week I’ve spent as a free woman. I’m super blessed and thankful I get to spend some time working on some personal things like digitizing our family photos, spending time with my family who’s visiting for the year, traveling, and planning a wedding.

But what am I gonna do now with my career?

Well, in short? My own thing.

I’m starting a little business called Sabello and you can find me on Instagram here. As well as my Poshmark here

I won’t go into too much detail because that’s a post for another time but essentially Sabello is a high end and luxury resale shop that also sells vintage, trendy clothing and home decor pieces. It’s kind of anything I find beautiful?

Anyway, back to birthday shenanigans.

We started the day with a photoshoot, then brunch at Snooze as it’s my delicious tradition and my nephew, Jesse, kept trying to steal my crown.

After a solid nap, we ended the day at Suehiro’s with my friends and family and we stuffed ourselves with sushi and teriyaki chicken. It was an amazing day filled with everyone I love.

So as I celebrate a new birthday, a new phase of life, and a new business, cheers to me, cheers to friends and family, cheers to life, and here’s some outfits in celebration and inspiration.

I didn’t have too much to say about each outfit except that I had so much fun! Very special shoutout to my mom and sister who came over really early to take photos of me. Until next time kids!
