Peony Picking at Garden Sweet Farms
This summer has been one of my favorites ever. From having my nephew here with us, to getting married, to spending time with the girl gang, to all the fun activities in-between, it has been chocked full.
One of my favorite activities was going to Garden Sweet Farm and picking our own flowers. It’s a great budget-friendly activity that is so much fun for a girls trip, a solo adventure, or some family fun. Once you gain entry, you can stay as long as you want and we say a family having a sweet picnic between the peonies and berry bushes. I went with my sister and Dani and we had a blast! We had so much fun going through and trying to find the best flowers to pick and build our bouquets.
They also have berry picking in the fall and you best believe we’re going to do that as well.
And of course we all had to wear cute outfits and I had to wear my over-the-top Wanida dress because it just screamed “peony picking” to me.
There’s more than just peonies here as well. Once you get your allotted amount of peonies, you can fill the rest of your cup or bucket with as many filler flowers and greenery as you want. Seriously, as much as you want. It made it so much fun to try and design the prettiest bouquets we could.
Plus, they have herbs, plants, vegetables, and more flowers for sale that you can plant and enjoy.
It was a great afternoon and I definitely plan on making this a new summer tradition. Enjoy some more photos we took that afternoon!
